• Welcome to my webpage!

I am a Persey F. Smith professor in Mathematics and a professor in Data Science at Yale University. My research foci are  additive and probabilistic combinatorics,  random matrices and high dimensional probability.

Currently,  I am particularly interested in  random matrices, random functions, numerical analysis (in particular perturbation theory), randomized algorithms  for matrices, and the anti-concentration phenomenon.

Book My textbook "Additive Combinatorics"  with Terence Tao can be purchased on Amazon and Cambridge University Press.  I also edited

"Modern Aspects of Random Matrix Theory", a collection of surveys.

Journals I am Editor of:  Combinatorica, Journal of Combinatorial Theory A,  Communications in Contemporary Mathematics, Acta Mathematica Vietnamica.

Papers All my publications can be found here.
